Standards Based Grading and Reporting

District 126 believes in students’ individual growth and success. District 126 has implemented a standards based grading system of reporting on students’ performance and progress across all grades K-8. This type of reporting creates a more specific, accurate, and understandable description of student learning at each grade level. It provides a guideline illustrating students’ current performance level and movement towards meeting the academic standards/goals specific to each grade level.
