Alsip, Hazelgreen and Oak Lawn Elementary School District 126 is a south suburban district located in Worth Township, approximately 15 miles southwest of the Chicago "Loop". School District 126 is comprised of four schools (3 elementary schools and 1 junior high school) covering a geographic region of 5.25 miles. The district employs 180 educators to work with its current student enrollment of 1,632.

Our mission is to graduate responsible and self-confident students who are prepared for the challenges of high school and beyond through a personalized education which provides a sound academic foundation and promotes the student's social, emotional and physical development in a safe, supportive environment.
